First Shoot - January 31st 11:45 AM
GROUP REFLECTION
My partner and I are working very well together we are splitting the responceabilities of bringing materials. We are also comunitcating well and keeping eachother opdated on the progress when one of use has to take the camera home for some modifications.
THE SHOOT
We took our first photo on January 31st 2014 at 11:45 AM. The conditions were great but down low, on the ground it was too shadey. So to get beter light we climbed to the top off out tree. We took our picture of the extending branches overlooking the mountins. When we took the photo we exposed it for 5 seconds. After the photo was developed we reilized that we had put the film backward, which had afected out outcome. We also figured that we had opened our lense for too long, because the picture was mostly white, becuase the lens had over explosed. Next time we will try opening it for 3 seconds to see if this maks a difference. We also think thier might have been alittle to much light and will try to find the perfect balence for next time. This photo doesn't resemple much it's mostly stain. This is becuase we put the film in backward

Second Shoot - Febuary 4th: 2:10 PM
GROUP REFLECTION
We as a group are till workign very well together. There was a bit of a misunderstanding when we put the film in the first time but we have it all worked out and we are switching duties. We also desided to take the photo of my partner so I had to double up on responceabities. I was worried I would make a mistake.
PROGRESS REPORT
Since the last photo shoot we desided to double even triple check that our film is in the right way to provent privious mistakes from reocuring. We also put more ductape on the shuter to block out more light. The last improvment we made was we painted the inside of the shutter black. We are also ajusting our shutter speed down to 3 seconds.
THE SHOOT
This is probably our best photo, it turned out really well. We took it on Febuary 4th 2014 at 2: 10 PM. I Again there were prim conditions. Optimal ight and minimal shadowing. This time we disided to open our shutter for 3 seconds. This photo is actully of my partner savin leaning against a truck with grafiti on it. The back door of the truck was open witch had a very contrasting affect. You can even see a bit of the forest in the background. Of coures the original is much clearer and more focused. When we took the photo there was a car moving in the background which might of affected the outcome, because as it moved light reflected diferently the closer it got. Other than that we did a prety good job of controling our variubles, and we put the film in corectly this time (learning from our mistakes).

Third Shoot - Febuary 10th 1:15 PM
GROUP REFLECTION
We are really pround of our most recent photo and hope thisone turns out just as well. There was bit of a disagreemet on how many secounds we sould hond the sutter open for btu we disided on 4 seconds.
PROGRESS REPORT
This time we will have to use a smaller lens so we switched out our peice of dut tap eon the inside that hold the film for one half the size. We also tryed to make the shape of the can sumetricele again because we were woried that it might be letting some light in. Becuase our can was dented due to the force of the nail and hamer when we were makeing the lens. So we hit the inside of the can to diminish the dents. We are also going to ajust our suter speed up the 4 seconds.
THE SHOOT
This photo was taken of Febuary 10th 2014 at 1:15 PM. It was alittle cloudy out but there was still a fair bit of light. We took this photo of the back of a school bus. This time we disided to hole our lens open for 4 seconds, because we felt like out photo was a bit to light last time. The other shoots we had a fairly large pice of film, but this time we had a really small paice of film. That might of afected the photo but I'm not sure. We also think that there might have been an ishue with the ink when the photo was printing. But in general we are not 100% sure why this photo didn't ture out very well. We have our hunches but we aren't sure what tiped the scale or if it was just a combination off everything.
